The Lakewood Cougars basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host La Conner Braves to 27 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Squalicum for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Saturday, December 21. Lakewood will confront a Storm team coming off a 56-45 league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Storm record now stands at 1-4.
In their next game, the Braves battle the South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 23. La Conner will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 60-18 non-league win over Tyee (SeaTac, WA).
