The Middletown Islanders basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host St. Raphael Academy Saints to 50 in the Islanders league triumph on Thursday.

The Islanders now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Woonsocket for a Division 2 game on Monday, December 23. Middletown will play a Villa Novans team coming off a 73-62 league loss to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Villa Novans record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, St. Raphael Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to play the Kilties in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Kilties go into the game with a record of 0-2. Mt. Pleasant lost 55-53 in their recent league game against East Providence (East Providence, RI)
