The Nashua South Purple Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Timberlane Owls to 57 in the Purple Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Purple Panthers now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Keene for a Division I game on Friday, January 3. Nashua South will confront a Blackbirds team coming off a 59-48 league win over Alvirne (Hudson, NH). The Blackbirds record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Timberlane falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Goffstown (Goffstown, NH) to confront the Grizzlies in a Division I game on Friday, January 3. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 1-2. Goffstown won 72-66 in their recent league game against Salem (Salem, NH)
