The Irish (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Marlboro was knocked off by Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ), 71-64, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Manalapan Braves (Englishtown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Steinert will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 60-57 non-league win over East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ).
