The Panthers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Heidelberg for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Quitman will confront a Oilers team coming off a 56-43 non-league win over Seminary (Seminary, MS). The Oilers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Noxubee County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Louisville (Louisville, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, December 20.
