Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong knocks off Petersburg

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Armstrong Wildcats basketball team scored a good 58-41 win over the Petersburg Crimson Wave.
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Dinwiddie defeated Petersburg (Petersburg, VA), 70-66, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Crimson Wave battle the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Petersburg will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 59-33 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA).
