The Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), 72-42 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Cherokee Bluff will play a Lions team coming off a 59-22 non-league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Gainesville falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Red elephants travel to Perry (Perry, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-1.
