In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting East Granby Crusaders basketball team scored a big 61-20 triumph over the Classical Magnet Gladiators.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Housatonic (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) in a Capitol Region contest, on Friday, December 27. Classical Magnet will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
