The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting Ossining Pride (Ossining, NY), observed Edison's basketball team knock off Ossining by a score of 60-44.
The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Wise prevailed over Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 68-55, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pride encounter the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Ossining will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 58-41 league loss to Northwestern (Albion, PA).
