Nebraska High School Basketball - Elkhorn Valley overwhelms Wayne

The Elkhorn Valley Falcons basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Wayne Blue Devils to 30 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Plainview for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Elkhorn Valley will play a Pirates team coming off a 31-27 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, NE). The Pirates record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Wayne falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils host West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE) to play the Cadets in a C1 District 7 game on Friday, December 20. The Cadets go into the game with a record of 4-2. West Point-Beemer won 49-33 in their recent non-league game against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE)
