In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Father Tolton basketball team scored a close 58-57 triumph over the Jefferson City Jays.
The (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Richland (Richland, MO). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
In their next game, the Jays confront the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Jefferson City will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
