In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Illini Central/Greenview basketball team scored a good 53-37 win over the Lexington Minutemen.
The (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Eureka defeated St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL), 67-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Calvary Christian Academy Knights (Normal, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Lexington will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL).
