The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles bounced the visiting Liberty Christian Academy Heat basketball squad by a final score of 72-16 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a NCISAA Carolina Independent match, on Tuesday, January 7. Rocky Mount Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC).

The Heat now sport a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7.
