The Limestone Rockets basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host Peoria Lions to 10 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rockets now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Morton for a Mid-Illini game on Saturday, December 21. Limestone will confront a Potters team coming off a 43-31 league win over Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Potters record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Peoria falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 8-5.
