Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgemont nips Ridgedale

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team scored a close 37-34 triumph over the Ridgedale Rockets.

The Golden Gophers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Fighting Hornets go into the Northwest Central contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Cory-Rawson was tipped by Hardin Northern (Dola, OH), 52-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Ridgedale will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Green Wave go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 46-42 league loss to Northridge (Johnstown, OH).
