The Carolina Forest Panthers basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Carvers Bay Bears to 27 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Socastee for a game on Monday, January 6. Carolina Forest will confront a Braves team coming off a 29-9 non-league loss to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Braves record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Carvers Bay falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to James Island (Charleston, SC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-1.
