Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), 36-9 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Woodside advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to face the Colts in a match on Wednesday, January 8. The Colts enter the match with a record of 2-6.

The Mustangs now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Creek for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Pioneer will face a Raiders squad coming off a 45-13 non-league win over Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.
