The Bayfront Charter Sharks (Chula Vista, CA) soccer overwhelmed the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 16-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Sharks now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 8. Bayfront Charter will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
