In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Pearl Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the McComb Tigers.
The Pirates (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS). The Cougars go into the 7A Region 3 outing with a 10-1 record.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 3. McComb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS).
