In Thursday's league contest, the host Crane Medical Cougars basketball team scored a big 71-33 triumph over the Farragut Admirals.
The Cougars (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dyett (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Dyett smashed Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 44-8, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Admirals battle the Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a contest, on Thursday, January 9. Farragut will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
