In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored a good 42-28 win over the East Rowan Mustangs.
The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-9 record.

The Vikings come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 29-23 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
