The Northfield Nighthawks basketball team scored 98 points and limited the visiting Gateway Olympians to 43 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Nighthawks now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Standley Lake for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Northfield will confront a Gators team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over The Academy (Westminster, CO). The Gators record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Gateway falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Olympians host Thomas Jefferson (Denver, CO) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 2-2. Thomas Jefferson won 77-8 in their recent league game against Kennedy (Denver, CO)
