The Agua Fria Owls soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Mingus Marauders to 2 in the Owls non-league victory on Thursday.
The Owls now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to ALA - Queen Creek for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Agua Fria will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Mingus moves to 1-4 on the year. The Marauders host Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to play the Badgers in a 4A Grand Canyon bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
