Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Pacific Ridge moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 8. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Dons now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Dieguito Academy for a non-league test on Monday, January 6.
