Georgia High School Basketball - Gilmer triumphant over Copper Basin

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) and the visiting Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), observed Gilmer's basketball team overwhelm Copper Basin by a margin of 70-32.

The Bobcats (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Galloway (Atlanta, GA). The Scots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Galloway was trounced by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 76-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 20. Copper Basin will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 9-0 record after their 58-37 league win over Coosa (Rome, GA).
