In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars basketball team scored a big 69-47 triumph over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion.
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Huntington routed St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 70-49, in a league outing.
The Lion (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lee Christian (Sanford, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league outing with a 4-7 record.
