In Friday's non-league test, the Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) basketball team were winner over the visiting Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR), by a tally of 54-45.
The Pirates now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Crook County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 20. Marshfield will play a Cowboys team coming off a 58-41 non-league win over Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Redmond falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Hidden Valley won 50-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Philomath (Philomath, OR)
