In Friday's non-league bout, the South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) basketball team crushed the visiting Surrey Mustangs (Surrey, ND), by a tally of 62-38.

The now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wilton/Wing for a non-league bout on Monday, December 22. South Prairie/Max will play a Miners team coming off a 54-32 league win over Center-Stanton (Center, ND). The Miners record now stands at 3-0.
