The Vanguard Academy Knights basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Whitehorse Raiders to 60 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merit Preparatory Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, December 19. Vanguard Academy will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 49-39 league win over Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Vernon (Murray, UT). The Patriots come into the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Mount Vernon was edged by Non Varsity Opponent (, ), 82-38, in a non-league game.
