The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mater Academy Charter Lions (Hialeah Gardens, FL) and the host Keys Gate Knights (Homestead, FL), observed Mater Academy Charter's basketball team knock off Keys Gate by a score of 50-32.

The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunset (Miami, FL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Sunset was outscored by Mater Bay Academy (Cutler Bay, FL), 50-42, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Dade for a non-league battle on Friday, January 9.
