The Rio Hondo Bobcats basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Lyford Bulldogs to 35 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Fresnos for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 2. Rio Hondo will battle a Falcons team coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 10-5.
The Bulldogs (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Los Fresnos ran past Rowe (McAllen, TX), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
