Iowa High School Basketball - Edgewood-Colesburg overwhelmed by Alburnett

The Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings basketball team (Edgewood, IA), was overwhelmed 102-12 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA)

The Pirates now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maquoketa Valley for a Tri-Rivers battle on Tuesday, December 6. Alburnett will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 48-33 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, MFL MarMac trounced Kee (Lansing, IA), 85-43, in a league battle.
