Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX), 42-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anderson-Shiro upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Owls travel to Iola (Iola, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Iola lost 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against North Zulch (North Zulch, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Brazos Christian Eagles (Bryan, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Allen Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 44-26 non-league win over Louise (Louise, TX).
