The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Iola Bulldogs to 48 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Owls now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Zulch for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Anderson-Shiro will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.

The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Trinity, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by Pollok Central (Pollok, TX), 62-22, in a non-league match.
