California High School Basketball - Artesia thwarted by Corona del Mar

The Artesia Pioneers basketball team (Lakewood, CA), dropped 66-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA)

The Sea Kings now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Corona del Mar will confront a Cubs team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Downey (Downey, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 5-4.

The Pioneers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Downey dropped by Loyola (Los Angeles, CA), 55-49, in a non-league battle.
