Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), 52-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Battle Mountain upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bishop Union won 53-22 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Eagles play the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Spring Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Muckers come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV).
