In Friday's non-league outing, the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) basketball squad felled the host Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX), by a margin of 74-55.

The Yellowjackets (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Three Way (Stephenville, TX). The go into the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Three Way was beaten by Covington (Covington, TX), 57-18, in a non-league outing.
