Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott can't hold off Bracken County

The Bracken County Polar Bears basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Scott Eagles to 71 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Hardin for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Bracken County will battle a Bruins team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Newport Central Catholic nudged St. Henry (Erlanger, KY), 70-57, in a non-league contest.
