Texas High School Basketball - St. Anthony overwhelmed by Central Catholic

The Central Catholic Buttons basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting St. Anthony Yellowjackets to 50 in the Buttons non-league victory on Friday.

The Buttons now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Regents for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Central Catholic will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-57 non-league win over Veritas Academy (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.

The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX). The Barons come into the TAPPS 5A District 4 contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Saint Mary's Hall triumphed over Smoking for Jesus Ministry Christian School (Burnet, TX), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
