The Riverton Rams basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Cherryvale Chargers to 45 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frontenac for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Riverton will battle a Raiders team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Neodesha (Neodesha, KS). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Neodesha was routed by Fredonia (Fredonia, KS), 74-40, in a non-league contest.
