The Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) basketball nipped the visiting The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA), 51-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Freeman got by J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA), 51-45, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host St. Christopher's for a VISAA Division I test on Wednesday, December 7. The Carmel School will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Steward (Richmond, VA). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
