California High School Basketball - Damien crushes Covina

December 2, 2022: Covina, CA 91723

Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), 74-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Damien upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Walnut (Walnut, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Walnut won 79-58 in their recent non-league bout against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Covina will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Charter Oak (Covina, CA).
