University Trojans (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX), 65-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Akins (Austin, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Akins lost 87-30 in their recent non-league bout against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Round Rock Westwood Warriors (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Crockett will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 50-27 non-league win over University (Waco, TX).
