Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX), 43-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Douglass upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Martins Mill won 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Glen Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 64-49 non-league loss to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX).
