California High School Basketball - Firebaugh edges Montebello

The Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) basketball nipped the host Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), 51-48 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their test against South El Monte (South El Monte, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, South El Monte got by Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 48-36, in a non-league test.

The Oilers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to South El Monte for a non-league test on Monday, December 12. Montebello will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
