The Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds tipped the visiting St. James Saints basketball team by a final score of 73-69 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 8. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
