Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harlingen Cardinals (Harlingen, TX), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasanton upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Bishop won 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Cole (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Harlingen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX).
