The Poway Titans (Poway, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 60-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Mavericks go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, La Costa Canyon went down by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 63-60, in a non-league test.

The Highlanders now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host La Jolla Country Day for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Helix will encounter a Torreys squad coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Torreys record now stands at 4-2.
