The Lexington Eagles basketball team (Lexington, TX), was nudged 58-55 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX)

The Bobcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Giddings for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. Hempstead will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Dime Box (Dime Box, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-1.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Rosebud-Lott was nudged by Thrall (Thrall, TX), 55-37, in a non-league match.
