The McLoughlin Pioneers basketball team (Milton-Freewater, OR), was overwhelmed 57-21 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR)
The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dufur for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Heppner will confront a Rangers team coming off a 66-21 non-league win over Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.
The Pioneers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against College Place (College Place, WA). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, College Place was overwhelmed by DeSales (Walla Walla, WA), 64-47, in a non-league battle.
